Valeo wins four Innovation Awards from upcoming CES 2023

Valeo proudly announces its receipt of four Innovation Awards at the upcoming CES 2023, showcasing cutting-edge technologies in electric assistance for bicycles, autonomous parking, interactive vehicle interiors, and advanced lighting modules.

Valeo Cyclee™

Valeo has developed a unique electric assistance solution for bicycles, integrating a 48-volt electric motor and a seven-speed automatic and adaptive gearbox developed in partnership with Effigear. The system includes a battery pack and handlebar interface to display operating information. With a power output of 130 Nm, it is the most powerful electric assistance system on the market today.

Valeo Trained Park4U®

Trained Park4U, an autonomous parking system, relieves the driver of repetitive parking operations. The driver trains the system by performing the maneuver once. The system memorizes the environment and can then reproduce the maneuver anytime, recognizing the environment even with changes. Built-in sensors detect objects and adjust direction to avoid collisions. This technology is especially useful in narrow or angled driveways.

Valeo Interior Immersive Fascia

This system integrates human-machine interface, dynamic lighting, and backlight solutions. When activated, the "metal" decoration becomes translucent, revealing an interactive interface. Lighting is used for ambiance and safety functions, such as warning signals. The system has a metal aspect when off and a sparkling diamond aspect when activated, delivering a distinctive brand signature.

Valeo Thin Bilite Lighting Module

This new lighting module features a reduced 15mm lens height and dual functionalities for Low Beam and High Beam in the same packaging. It allows smooth integration into vehicle fascia for a thin, stylish appearance, aligning with the trend for thinner headlamps, especially in new EVs.

The CES Innovation Awards program is an annual competition recognizing outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. Winners are selected based on innovation, technicality, functionality, aesthetics, and design by a panel of industry experts, including media, designers, and engineers.
