The DMF utilizes two independent flywheels connected via a bearing or bushing, with an integrated damper system. This design absorbs torque and engine vibration, reducing noise, harshness, and protecting the drivetrain. High-quality materials—including long-life ball bearings, bushings, and premium “best-in-class” spring wire—ensure exceptional durability and performance. Valeo’s added friction damping system maintains its stability throughout the DMF’s lifespan.
