Valeo Wins Three Prizes at the 2022 Automobile Awards

Valeo received three prizes at the 2022 Automobile Awards, highlighting its significant contributions to automotive innovation and sustainability. Marc Vrecko, President of Comfort and Driving Assistance Systems Business Group, and Michel Forissier, Group Chief Engineering & Marketing Officer, attended the awards ceremony held on December 8th at the Automobile Club de France in Paris.

In the context of the biggest transformation in the history of the automobile industry, the Automobile Awards shine their spotlight on those who materialize their desire to reduce their carbon footprint. After receiving two prizes at the Automobile Awards in 2021 for its LiDAR technology and innovative charging stations, Valeo secured three prizes for this 2022 edition.

Equipment of the Year for Valeo Scala 3, Third Generation LiDAR

The Valeo SCALA 3 LiDAR will enable vehicles to be certified for level 3 automation, allowing drivers to safely take their hands off the steering wheel and their eyes off the road.
